100 year old and Evening Walk

My Aunt Margaret turned 100. She is the only remaining remember of my mom's family, After her party the twins wanted to see the sights of Clinton...At 8 not really high standards. Then got back down to the Cites and went for a short walk along the newer part of the river front bike path..

Drive Home

Driving home from Dad's birthday party and went through Prophetstown. Saw the after effects of the fire and one the way out of town saw this mailbox.

They have already begun to clear out and rebuild

Dad's 85th Birthday

For Dad's 85th Birthday. The cake was amazing. It was all edible. It's a reproduction of the crossing and coal bins from Nelson Illinois

Budding Julia Childs

Teaching the girls to make their own dinner. It was Mac and Cheese so they know what it's suppose to look like. I told them the danger of long hair and a gas stove. Came out pretty good.

After The Party

After Dad's party went to the Dixon river front to hear Dre's band play. It's a nice place except for the million bugs. Then back to the hotel room to watch Dianne do a reenactment of a beetle dying.

Around the Corner

It was one of those days that it got to over 100 be decided we needed to go for a walk...we looped the block.
