Three Parks and a Bar.

Had the girls for the day so we went to see how many parks we could hit before someone got tired and whiny We started out at Middle Park and old favorite. Some lady and her horrible kids where there and took over the equipment ...Savannah comes to me when she wasn't able to slid e down the slide.Lets leave those people are mean...So off we go. And the mother kept yelling at her darlings to stop...stop...play nice....oh great.

The lagoon at Middle Park. Went to see if the girls acted the same way around the water. Yep. Savannah was at the grass side of the sidewalk looking in and Constance was looking at her reflection from the edge.
They came up off the water and followed us around. Savannah didn't like it. I told her that they could smell the french fries they had for lunch.
Part of the Duck Creek.
Some roses from Vanderveer Rose Garden ...Tropicana.
The girls just chilling looking at the melting water. (fountain )
Heading up the walk to the big melting water. By this time both tired and hot so they aren't listening to me anymore.
Mom plays on a Sand Volley Ball team so we went to see her play. Between games the girls where in heaven...A giant sand box.

Another Day Another Park

Sticking with my Illinois run ....I went to Prospect Park in Moline. All these years and I've never been there. I was just checking it out for walks. Like the map it shows the different paths and how difficult they are.

This trail doesn't look that hard.
Oh that's why....

Moline River Front.

Dragged my sister and the twins out for one of my walks. This was one down the Illinois side. Started at the I Wireless and worked our way up river. We kept telling the girls that a park was at the end of our walk...When we got there all we found was a big hole of where the playground used to be...Talk about getting that look from the girls.

The Mark of the Quad Cities....er the I Wireless Center....(the Mark)

Object De Art next to the Mark.

Constance getting a better view of the river.

Old train station that they want to tear down.
A fountain behind Bass Street Landing.
Constance and new friend.

What no swings or slides. what kind of park is this.

Walking to the Clinic.

I had my three month follow up apptionment with the Diabetic Clinic last week. I thought I'd be the good little boy and walk to the place. We'll the two hills stopped me. I think I could have gotten there but getting home....911 time. So I parked near the Junior High and walked down. No problem. but coming back I didn't take the same way and got myself lost. Heres some pretty pictures from my walk.

Northwest Bank in Bettendorf and their planter
One of those mega churches in a former funeral home

The Clarissa Cook Hospice that is behind the clinic. Very odd layout but I hear its very peaceful in there.

After I got home I was hungry so I walked to .....No never in a million years would I willingly go in there.

Mild Kingdom

Out for a walk with the sister alone the Duck Creek path. This was between Marquette and Division. We saw a deer in the trees behind the houses. Tried it telephoto but you can barely see it. Yes they do blend in with the back ground. I just wonder which street it would try to cross. Really not that much cover in the area.

Way off to the right...see it..closer..closer... should be right....here
just as it ran behind the tree.

After two days of rain its high and muddy.
They tried three times to go a shore but it was to muddy and steep.

Girls In The Park

The girls on their home turf...

Push me ..no push me...higher...higher...
