Went to sister Dianne's for Father's day cook out. Almost all the kids there

Trying To Kill Kathy But Getting Burnt Instead

Went for a walk with Old Lady Gimm on the new part of the Bettendorf bike path. It started at the Isle of Capri and ended behind Alcoa. It didn't look that bad on the map. Well 4 miles out and 4 back on a hot cloudless day. Scenery not much to look at . You wind in and out between factories and the train lines. We didn't come back on the path because by now out of water and looking for cool places to stop at. We hit both convenience stores and drank down the cold beverage. I found I had a hole in my shirt so I had a pin point burn on my back. Kathy couldn't bend her leg the next day. All in all a fun day.

The Girls and A Bridge

Went for a walk with the girls. Went to Prospect Park near me but it's a boring park. No toys. The girls looked out over the edge of the road and said lets go down there...So down we went...me thinking...how do I explain them tripping and falling into traffic from up here.. We went to the Arsenal Bridge which they just find fascinating.We got there just in time to see it open.
