The Size Of Your Cookie

I've always like to cook, and I've been told that I'm pretty good . That could be one of the reasons I got to do all the big family holiday dinners.when I was younger. I came late to cookie making and can do a really good job for most types...Not sugar cookies.   I've always wondered why I never got the amount of cookies that the recipe called for. I have the small cookie scoop to make sure they are all about the same size. Got out one of my professional cookbooks and looked up what they have for cookie size. The cookie on the left is the size they say. All 2oz. the one on the right is from my #40 cookie scoop. I think if I went into work with the one on the right they would be confused. One bite and its gone. I'll stick with my size.
