Prospect Park Moline

The lagoon at Prospect Park
The lagoon still but farther up the path
The I believe Spanish style shelter at the park. Its two stories and huge. The view from it is very nice. Found that there is a Prospect park in each of the QC. That will be a mission this spring.

Bookworld Moline

New bookstore in the area. Bookworld. Its in the old Waldenbooks spot in Southpark Mall in Moline. Not anything different but they do have a tobacco corner. Sell pipes and all that comes with them. They also have about 3 times the amount of magazines that was there in the Walden days. Hope they do ok. God knows the Illinois needs a bookstore.
Get lit in the bookstore.
Calendars and more
If they don't have it then you didn't really need it.

Outside My Front Door August

It's been a long dry summer so far. The poor plants outside my door are burnt on the top. When we got to short showers those purple flowers popped up.
the ivy seems to have grown alot this year. This is covering my bedroom window on the west side of the house. There is a strand that is making its way over to the living room window now.
The south side of the house. Covering two stories with the vines. Can see out my bedroom or bathroom window because of the jungle.

Peoria Zoo The Asian Trail

I'm on vacation so planned a road trip. My sister Mary and the twins went to the Peoria Zoo. The last time we tried it rained and rained and rained. We hoped that we would break the drought here if we went. No stayed dry and sunny. The girls seem to enjoy themselves which is always good. I'm not going to label each animal because I don't remember what they are.
