The goddaughter has decided to have her wedding and the reception at Black Hawk State Park Lodge. I was to go around and take pictures and
get measurements for the place.

Good Bye Old Feed
Trying to keep Southpark a vital part of the shopping area they are tearing down the food court and putting in a Dick's Sporting Good.
The Sears is also going. I was working at Montgomery Ward when they built the "new" addition. All the mice, vols and whatnot came into
the store to get away from the digging. They had a grand opening with people for the Young and Restless. I have to say that I got stuck in
a rut with what I had for lunch because I'd walk up to a place and they'd say..The usual? I hope this keeps Southpark going for another
couple of years

It Was So Cold
I think it was minus 10. So cold that the moving Mississippi was steaming up.

Queen Mary
This is a Christmas present from my niece Sarah. I want to see the Queen Mary when I come visit her. She took a picture of it and behind the frame is a gift certificate to the gift shop. Now to just get out there

Getting In The Spirit Of The Season
I wanted a wreath for my door. I didn't want a fake one,so finally found a real pine wreath. It just didn't look complete so found the bow.
Christmas may come now....Ho Ho Ho...

History Not Respected
Took a walk around Black Hawk State Park In Rock Island with Old Lady Gimm and Caretaker Jane. I had seen on a map that they had the first
cemetery someplace over there. It just said someplace on the north side of the park. Jane must be able to smell death because she took us right
to it. The grounds are well taken care of . But most of the headstones are broken off or knocked over. Some you can barely read who its for
anymore. Sad that these people will slip from memory soon.

Walking To Lunch
I'm trying to be healthy ,so when I went to meet friends for lunch I decided to walk there...30 blocks so what. It was a bit cold but not to bad.
I made it there in plenty of time. I was cold and glad they suggested that they drive me back. Thanks Leanne Smith and Nancy Stamm.
